Published by: Eron of Talk Loud | Dated: 3rd of May, 2009

The battle on the boxing ring that the world awaits is finally over. It is the fight between the two humongous names in boxing history, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton. Their fight is called as “The Battle of East and West.”

A pound for pound fight is what the world saw. Manny Pacquiao gives all his right and left punches to his opponent, Ricky Hatton. During the first round, viewers saw the two crashes on canvass by Hatton and a great victory by Pacquiao on the second round with a knockout and a Junior Welterweight Title Belt. A Filipino rises up again in the world.

I hope that this event will serve as a lesson to people that is boastful. That no matter what happens or you think you even reach the top of your life, just always put your feet on the ground. Be humble. And always think that the Almighty God is the reason why you reach your dream and not yourself alone.

I’m proudly Pinoy.
