The Holy Week of Filipinos
Published by: Eron of Talk Loud | Dated: 8th of April, 2009During Holy Week, many of us Filipinos try to take our own traditional beliefs. Some do fasting, singing for the passion and others make themselves suffer pains. Samples of these suffering are by means of hitting themselves many times and the greatest is taking the challenge of crucifixion, just like what our Lord Jesus Christ did to save us from our sins.

Believers of these actions think that this is one way of cleaning all of their sins. It means that giving a hit or a pain on oneself can save them. For my own opinion as a Christian, it is not. I know that many will agree with me on this and others may not. Simply ask for forgiveness and pray for guidance that you will not do this certain sin again. Keep in mind that we are only human beings and temptation is everywhere. God bless us all.
I would like to share something that I found in YouTube to what is inside the Bible’s Prophecy. Watch this seven part video entitled “The Final Events of Bible Prophecy” and learn the whole truth.

I’ll go for more abundant country. Looking forward for great year this 2010
great post
What is he going to do if he wins? Is there something new that will happen or maybe a plan?
I voted, goodluck ZK!
ask for forgiveness and thou shall be forgiven. that’s why the angels envy us. we are so lucky to be humans.
I can’t imagine every Holy Week many Filipinos having thier “Pagpapapako sa Krus” for what? We can still repent for our sins and ask for forgiveness instead of having that one!
