With Microsoft’s recent announcement, I am getting more confused about what their position is in the online storage market. Companies like Carbonite, MyOtherDrive, and Mozy are clearly going after the online backup market. Box.net and MyOtherDrive.com are going after sharing and collaboration. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft fares in this new space.
