The New Favicon of Google
Published by: Eron of Talk Loud | Dated: 10th of June, 2008A short introduction for favicon, it is a short term for favorite icon. It is widely use today on all internet websites and blogs. A 16×16 icon (.ico file). It helps a website or blog in representing its uniqueness to others.
One thing caught my attention when I browse Google.com, their favicon had changed. Check the difference between the old and the new.
At first I thought this is something like google usually does every season or month and that is by changing their header to different designs. But I am wrong. This time they stick to it. For me I hate to see this new favicon. It isn’t branding and didn’t represent google well. I like the old one. Opinions are always opinions and I just share mine.
I did notice the change of favicon of google but I prefer their first favicon.
