Extension for Elementary up to 8th Grade

Published by: Eron of Talk Loud | Dated: 12th of June, 2008

A new plan has come up by the government and that is regarding education, an extension for elementary students from 6th Grade to 8th Grade.

With this, students will now face the challenge of a long education process. Instead of graduating to elementary on an early age of 12, elementary students will now graduate 2 more years and that will be at age 14. Others say that this will need a large budget for the Department of Education to make it possible and it is not a solution for increasing problems in public schools. Maybe it will be better to start other priority problems first before anything else.

If you look on the subjects that they will be teaching, maybe its gonna help. But theres a lot to consider. Lets look at japan as an example. They teach electronics on young kids. and they dont even have to result to having a grade 8.

I am not in favor with this. What the country need is just to fund a budget to be able to pay for good teachers. They key for a well educated man is a good teacher and not the long term education.
