Do you know Ebay? To anyone who does not know it, I will define it to my own words. Ebay is a website that is known for auctioning products online. It gives other internet users the ability to sell their brand new goods or second hand goods on a bidding process. When your item is on bidding process it means that you can sell it more than your target fixed price and that is a great way to sell, isn’t it? That is why selling your item on Ebay is fun and not a problem.

I know that this is not new but to all that do not have any idea, the well-known Ebay has extent its website to the Philippines, yes there is now an Ebay Philippines. This has the same concept as the international Ebay. The only thing that makes it differ is that it uses the currency of Philippine peso instead of US dollars.
Why will I use Ebay Philippines?
The reasons are,
Before to start this, are you proud for being a Filipino? If the answer is yes here is a website called Yabang Pinoy. This was established by a group of young people that are nationalistic. They started out a campaign and invited all Filipinos in the world to announce and be proud that he or she is a Filipino. By means of just wearing a simple wrist band made of abaka and I think that is good way to get started.

Why do they start this campaign?
Not all Filipinos are proud to be one and let’s just face it. Sometimes they are hiding from their true self. Why will anyone do this? The answer is I do not know or maybe they hate our homeland, shame on them. This is what the Yabang Pinoy group said.
The ‘Yabang Pinoy” campaign was founded by a group of young, active and nationalistic Filipinos who realized that one of the gravest problems faced by the Philippines today is Filipinos not believing in their nationality and doubting their identity.
What is about this Yabang Pinoy band?
It is made out of abaka, and we have studied this during elementary that it is one of the strongest threads used by our ancestors, it symbolizes strong band of the Filipinos. Celebrities and other known personalities are already started out to join this campaign. Just by buying a fifty peso Yabang Pinoy band you already know that you are part of it and not only that, this is what they said regarding to the proceeds.
Proceeds from “Yabang Pinoy” go to projects that aim to instill pride among the Filipino people.

By the way, after buying it start taking pictures of yourself while wearing the Yabang Pinoy band and send it to them.
At long last, the wait will soon be over. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3 or NAIA 3 will soon open on the second week of July. As of now they are practicing on what they called a “dry run” in how things would come up when they open for business. Structural problems and others like these are all fixed and ready for the July opening.

The new airport is located in Pasay City and the facility can take up to 13 million passengers per year. The first airlines that will use the terminals are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines. Officials said that NAIA 3 will first be use on domestic flights until it will be available for international flights but the schedule for the international use is unknown as of now.
We hope that this won’t take too long so we can make it somehow near the top in the list of best airports in Asia. Our current international airport is one of the worst in Asia. Talk to some OFW and they can tell you the big difference from other country’s airport. For all we know that you can see a country’s current standing just by seeing its airport. What do you think of ours?
We all know that Filipinos are family oriented and that is because of the trait that we claim to have from our ancestors. That trait is the “close-family ties”. Even on modern days of cyber world we Filipinos continue on doing this. This news will surely give a smile on your face because Filipinos contributes almost a third of the billion page views on Multiply and the Filipinos visiting the website are not only located inside Philippines but also in different parts of the globe.

Before Friendster is our favorite social network website but now most of the Filipinos switched to Multiply. Bad thing about Friendster is that many identity thieves are signing up using identities of known personalities and celebrities cannot create an account due to these acts. I guess that is the reason also why celebrities like actors, actresses and others are now signing up on Multiply and not on them.
The page views that generates on the website are not only from profile to profile views but with quality views like, viewing of pictures, watching videos and posting blogs. All in all Filipinos are best in social network due to the traits that we have. Bringing families’ closeness back by means of this medium is one way of communicating even though apart in real life.
Many of us think that solving a jigsaw puzzle is for child’s play only. Who can tell that with this simple hobby of Gemberly Tan-Cagalingan from Binondo will give her the title of The First Asian who finished the largest jigsaw puzzle in the world that is entitled “Life.”

To tell you a little bit of the Life puzzle, Life is consisting of 24,000 puzzle pieces and only a jigsaw puzzle hobbyist like Gemberly Tan-Cagalingan can take this challenge. The size of it is 428cm x 157cm (4.28m x 1.57m). It is really huge for a jigsaw puzzle and that is why it’s called the largest in the world. Can you solve this?
After she bought the large jigsaw puzzle and opened it. The puzzle is divided in 4 separate plastic bags. She does not want to solve the puzzle in four parts because she thinks that it would be like solving a 6,000 pieces rather than 24,000. So she opens all the four plastic bags and pours all into the puzzle’s box and the puzzle solving for her started. She logs all the time that she consumes on finishing the Life jigsaw puzzle and the total she got is 233 hours and 5 minutes. All she wishes now is that there would be a group that will invite all puzzle enthusiasts like her and start their own jigsaw puzzle community.

Why do you post comments when you visit blogs? As I know there are two reasons for it, first reason is that you are posting because you like the topic and the second is that you like the topic and you want to promote your website or blog using your anchor text.

I just found out that I am now getting lots of comments from my posted topics. Talk Loud is only a less month old blog and before only my friends are giving out comments but now I am approving comments from real visitors and I am happy with that. To what I said about the second reason for why visitors are posting comments, I am now removing the “nofollow” for links on the comment section. This is a special attribute only used for search engine reading. Most blogs that is running on wordpress are set the “nofollow” as enable by default. You can only disable this when you install a plugin. If you want to remove it also you can try this dofollow plugin for wordpress. This is just a simple way to say thank you to my future visitors and commentors.
By the way, I had placed a banner below the comment form and a badge on sidebar to show you that this is a nofollow free blog.

Last week I just watched a Probe TV special regarding our gold treasures entitled “Gintong Pamana.” I will just recap some of it. It all started when a man working as an operator of a bulldozer suddenly bumped into a metallic item. He didn’t know that the metallic item is gold until he pours some muriatic acid and analyzed it.
So the story began there. On that time many of the old town folks are now longing to have one. They continue to dig in the area just to find some gold and get the same fate as with the first gold discoverer. Ok, now all the lucky ones got gold. It is a treasure but still it is part of our history. These gold relics are crafted hundreds of years ago or even thousands. We have the responsibilities to protect it and not to use it on our own sake but for the sake of our future generations.

Why am I saying this? I’ll give an example; the Chinese government protected their treasures very carefully. They even built a National Museum for all of their national treasures. From scriptures, papers, artworks to fragile items like glass jars. All of these are well protected and not getting any damage. They even have people to maintain its original form. Their government does give out budget for their history. But why our gold relics are not the same as it looks before? Parts were cut out, lost and torn apart. And the hard part is that our government did not even think of ways to preserve these. Good thing that the Ayala together with their partners are the ones who did it, a non government party. They placed these gold relics inside Ayala Museum to give the public the opportunity to see it. My question is this, are there still relics from our history that are not being saved due to the irresponsible acts of other people and our government? Let us just hope that this be the last of it.
For all who did not have the chance to watch the special episode of Probe TV, here are the videos.
